Week 1: Getting Started
In this week’s call, we’ll all get to know each other better, identify the main sources of time wasters, and give you your first steps to Daily Mastery. You’ll also learn some things about yourself, such as your basic organizing and time management styles, which are essential for you to achieve peak productivity at work. By the end of this week, you’ll be much more aware of how you use your time, what works and doesn’t work for you, and will be on your way to regaining an hour of your time every day.
Week 2: Slay the Technology Time Robbers
In this week’s call, we’ll start to address an essential part of wasted productivity, interruptions and other distractions, with the distractions created by technology. You basically have two choices: you can either master your technology (computer, email, phone, etc.) or you can be controlled by it. I’ll show you how to turn the tables and start to master it in just one day.
Week 3: Reduce the Time Vampires
Time Vampires are all those people who want a piece of your time, but don’t give you anything back in return. They simply suck the time out of you (and you may be surprised that you can be one of your own time vampires!). In this session you’ll find out how to keep them at bay, and minimize the damage they can cause whenever you need to interact with them.
Week 4: Focus on What Counts
Where you spend your time and what tasks you focus on dictates how productive you’ll be, so in this session you’ll discover – or re-learn – how to make sure you are focusing on the right things, and doing what you need to do in the right order. Priorities will be the name of the game.
Week 5: Schedule Yourself to Success
When you do what, is just as important as what to do. This session shows you how to structure your day to suit your style, your own pace, and, most importantly, to maximize your day.
Week 6: Tame Your Paper Monster
Everything you’ve done so far is of no use if your office looks like a tornado just went through it. So this week we’ll focus on making your desk, and your office in general, an effective workspace for you, defining how to organize your papers, lay out your desk top according to your personal style and needs.
Week 7: Streamline Your Operations
Whether you are a one-person or a ten-person operation, there are tasks and projects that you do over and over and over again. So why re-invent the wheel? Simply create systems that will make those tasks and projects mindless, and possibly completely automated, so that you can devote your time to what really matters instead. This week and next show you how to do this.
Week 8: Streamline Your Operations, Part 2
This week, we’ll examine your own operations and brainstorm together your own systems.
Week 9: Eliminate Procrastination
Procrastination is an all-too-common occurrence. Eliminating it can sometimes make the difference between a business that grows and one that stagnates or decreases. So this week, we’ll examine where procrastination comes from, and the most effective ways to combat it – or side-step it.
Week 10: Stay Calm When Things Get Crazy
The tension can easily mount when a deal goes wrong, a client is unhappy, or too many people make demands on your time at the same time. Learn how to tame your stress on the spot, and permanently, so that you can be at the top of your game no matter the circumstances.
Week 11: Play is Critical to Peak Productivity
Ever heard the saying “work hard, play hard”? Well, it’s true, except it should say “work hard, play hard, rest hard”. Play and rest are just as essential to your productivity as the elements you have put in place over the past 10 weeks. So this week, we’ll add to the mix how to pace yourself and rest and play “effectively” (for your productivity, that is. No worries, if anything it’ll be even more fun than regular play).
Week 12: Wrap Up
This final week is to deal with anything that you still want addressed, your specific questions and challenges, and time for graduation.
